The Marlyn Hotel, has been a town centre hotel since 1890. Refurbished to maintain all of its original early Victorian character, it offers comfortable and inviting rooms in the heart of the Old Town. All rooms have nice views with 2 rooms overlooking the Shakespeare Institute Gardens and the other 4 overlooking fine private gardens. TVs with freeview in the bedrooms. Breakfast is Included in the room price with a choice of (1) continental breakfast of Yorkshire ham, cured bacon, salami, cheeses, cereal, milk, yogurt, fruit juice, tea coffee, salads, preserves, croissant and toast and accompaniments or (1) English with Back Bacon, Streaky Bacon, Eggs, Sausage Black Pudding, Tomatoes, Beans and Mushrooms. Meats are from our Local Butcher and an award winning Northumberland Family Butcher. We will also cook whatever you want on request. We do dinner as well, Greek, Italian, Russian and Traditional English. During the day the Tea Rooms are open serving home made cakes including Yorkshire Curd ake and Russian Profiteroles). There is no better choice in Stratford.A Late Tea is also available for late arriving guests or those rushing out to the theatre. It includes quality tea from an wide menu, sandwiches, and home made cake or sweet. We have fully licencesd bar facilities and in the summer al fresco dining.Our check in is 3pm and check out 12-00 pm, but we do our best to be flexible, so please ask if you want to book in early or check out late and we will do our best to accommodate. If you are arriving after 10.30p.m. please try and let us know.Weekends offer free parking 15 yards from the hotel. Short stay and free 6pm to 8am opposite the hotel 7 days a week.
