This thatched Cotswold Hotel, 5 minutes from Banbury and J11 of the M40, within easy reach of Stratford upon Avon and Oxford, is a tranquil country house in a peaceful and historic setting. The village of Wroxton is a gem with college gardens to walk around, thatched cottages and duck pond (don't forget to take bread to the ducks!!) Close-by is Stratford-upon-Avon, birthplace of William Shakespeare and home of the Royal Shakespeare Company. A walk around Stratford and visit to Anne Hathaways Cottage is well worthwhile and when possible try and take in a show at the theatre on the river.
