The Villa is fully equipped to a very high standard and has 2 bedrooms, open plan living room, fully equipped kitchen with washing machine and dishwasher, two large terraces and a beautiful well maintained Canarian garden surrounds the villa. There are 2 fully tiled bathrooms with full size baths with shower over, toilet, basin and bidets. Do you like the sea? In Fuerteventura, three sports stand out far above the rest: windsurfing, scuba diving and the latest craze kite surfing. If you're not into doing these sports, its just great to sit and watch the kite surfers on Flag beach or the beach at Majanicho particularly at the weekends.Fuerteventura, a paradise in the Canary Islandswith traditional architecture inland with small quaint villages doted around the Island. There is a fantastic range of large sand dunes that run for miles from Puerto Del Rosiaro airport upto Corralejo and in the south down to Jandia. The area has 7 miles (11 km) of fine sand starting 2 miles (3.2 km) outside of Corralejo, along with some smaller bays along the coast. In addition, there are several miles of sand dunes, which have been designated as a nature reserve. The waters around Corralejo are crystal clear and an intense shade of blue and aquamarine. The towns beaches are sheltered and have a band of volcanic rock and fine sand along the shoreline.At Corralejo Harbour the ferries go over to Lanzarote and the island of Los Lobos is 2 km by glass bottom boat from the harbour, there you will find lovely beaches and bays to swim and snorkel. There are also organised diving, fishing trips and dolphin watching in the local waters and trips on the Catalanza Catamaran where you will have a fantastic day out.El Cotillo is only a 15-minute drive and is a Mecca for the surfing community. To the west Cotillo has superb beaches that are very popular with surfers as the waves roll in at full strength. At the old harbour there are a good selection of nice restaurants with great views to the sandy beaches and great sunsets. The beaches to the north of El Cotillo are in fact lagoons that are protected from big Atlantic waves by lava reefs. You can find pools with warm water making them ideal to swim in. South of the Island is Oasis Park at Jandia which is great day out and is suitable for all ages, take a camel ride round the mountain and if you have an interest in gardening then the Botanical Gardens is a must, there you will find specimens of plants that you will never forget and is free to get in. There is a free bus service in Corralejo that goes to the Park so no need to drive. Sports on the IslandWindsurfingThe island is a Mecca for windsurfers. In July, Fuerteventura hosts the Professional Windsurfing Association world windsurfing speed and slalom event at Sotavento in the South. All year round surfers exploit the large Atlantic swells that roll onto the north and western coasts. Spring and summer has traditionally been the sailing season, but kite surfing has become increasingly popular for people looking for adrenaline sports. GolfFuerteventura Golf Club in Costa Caleta, was the first of its kind on the island, is only 11 kilometres from the capital Puerto del Rosario, and eight kilometres from the airport.The course has 18 holes, with a par of 71, and wanders over streams and around lakes. The 18th hole has a very high tee and is a dogleg par four. Here, the player could take more clubs than is needed for the tee shot with the breeze blowing behind. The delightful climate throughout summer and winter means this exciting course can be enjoyed at any time of the year.Las Salinas Golf Club The Golfcourse is an 18 hole, par 70 course, designed by Manolo Piñeiro, twice champion of the World, with a maximum distance of 5409m for gentlemen and 4652m for ladies. In its construction have been used the most advanced technologies in design of the systems for irrigation and drainage in order to optimise the waters consumption. Salinas de Antigua Golf Clubs landscape, is formed by hills and dunes that are protected from the wind, there are also deserts areas and four lakes that surface are 21450m2.There is a 9 hole golf course in Corralejo.
