Description
The hotel Cannon d'Oro is centrally located in Siena, in via Montanini, the elegant shopping street, only 200 metres from the famous Piazza del Campo and very close to the bus station. The property boasts a rich history that dates back to the 13th century. Until 1262, it was a former palace owned by the noble Bulgarini family. Afterwards the building was owned by Ghinibaldo di Saracino and his wife Sapia Salvani, featured in Dante's Divine comedy. Today, this fine hotel offers over two hundreds years of tradition in the hospitality business.
