The Lodge in the Vale is our newly built Lodge Hotel that stands proud on the outskirts of Keswick, at Legburthwaite, St Johns in the Vale. The design, by local award winning architects Savage and Chadwick, fits perfectly into the beautiful landscape, utilising local traditional building features and materials, whilst having a light and airy contemporary feel. This is achieved by a two story glass atrium at the heart of the building and the mixing of cedar wood cladding and local stone work under a Westmorland slated roof.The accommodation is all en-suite with satellite TV, full range of internet access including broadband and wifi. The residents lounge has breathtaking views and has a feature fireplace with real fire. Conference facilities for up to 20 delegates are available. Parking is available on site with storage facilities for bikes, canoes and outdoor equipment. Rates include continental breakfast including a selection of cereals, fresh fruit, cold meats and cheeses, pastries and coissants, tea, coffee of fruit juice etc.
