Lakeside House has undergone complete restoration and has been redecorated and refurnished to offer luxurious, contemporary guest accommodation for visitors seeking a special bed and breakfast stay in Keswick.The building has been completely remodelled and presents fourteen spacious bedrooms, including twin and family rooms, all en-suite, and most bedrooms have spectacular views of the Lake District mountains. We are superbly located on the corner of Lake Road and The Heads just a few minutes' walk from Derwentwater and The Theatre By The Lake, and very close to the shops, restaurants and pubs of Keswick town centre - location, location, location - we have it! A great base from which to explore the beautiful Lake District, whether you plan to fellwalk or cycle, or just want to relax in comfort and enjoy the magnificent scenery. The recently opened Lakeside House Cafe and Coffee Lounge provides a place to relax, take in the views, or to just watch the world go by. All our food is, where possible, locally supplied and fair trade produce. Breakfast provides a selection of juices, fruits and yoghurt, cereals or porridge to start, then a choice of: smoked salmon with scrambled eggs, traditional full-grill, or the Lakeside House 'lighter option' - a freshly buttered crumpet topped with a poached egg accompanied by griddled asparagus spears wrapped in parma ham.Our accommodation covers 4 floors, with a lovely light and airy breakfast room, a fitness room and drying room facilities for cyclists and walkers.
