Perfectly located for trips to the Yorkshire Coast, Dales and Moors with famous Abbeys, Castles and fabulous country gardens and houses between. And of course there are the famous York and wetherby races for those that enjoy a flutter. The climate is Yorkshire's so boots and wellies are advised for country walks and a large umbrella can be found in each apartment just in case! The food is Yorkshires too and guests enjoy the excellent local restaurants, locally grown and produced specialities and the regular farmers markets. The shopping in Harrogate is worth a mention too with small designer boutiques and many antique shops to browse around and enjoy. The apartments are well served by public transport and easily found by car, there is plenty of private off road parking for all guests. Full written directions and satnav friendly postcodes are provided for guests prior to arrival. A regular bus service provides hourly transport to Harrogate and Leeds and to the nearest major train stations. Local taxi companies pick up from and deliver to the Gates and we are happy to organise or help with any arrival or departure transport.
