It operates scheduled flights within the Canary Islands, and it is totally owned by the Venezuelan group, Santa Bárbara Airlines. Islas operates scheduled service between the airports of Tenerife North, Grand Canary, Fuerteventura, Lanzarote and La Palma. Islas Airways ceased all flight operation on 16 October 2012.
