Conviasa (Consorcio Venezolano de Industrias Aeronáuticas y Servicios Aéreos), founded in 2004 to replace Viasa, is the national airline of Venezuela. The company is state owned, the headquarters is located in Maiquetía, near the capital Caracas. Conviasa operates flights in domestic, regional and international destinations in the Caribbean, Middle East and South America. Its hub is located in the airport Simon Bolivar (CCS), in Caracas, while the secondary base is located at the airport Santiago Mariño (PMV) in Porlamar, Isla de Margarita.
