Atlas Blue is a low cost Moroccan airline based in Marrakech, in Morocco. It is a subsidiary of Royal Air Maroc and operates charter and scheduled flights between Morocco and several European destinations. Its operative base is at Airport Menara (RAK) airport in the city of Marrakech. Atlas Blue was founded on 28 May 2004 and started operating on 26 July 2004, initially with charter flights to France with one Boeing 737-400. Other 5 Boeing 737-400s were transferred from Royal Air Maroc to expand the routes to Belgium, Germany, Italy and Great Britain. Atlas Blue belongs to Royal Air Maroc (99.99%) and private investors (0.01%). Since the end of 2010, the brand Atlas Blue has been absorbed by Royal Air Maroc and ceased to exist.
