Aerolineas Argentinas, which was founded on December 7, 1950 and based in Torre Bouchard, Buenos Aires, is the national airline of Argentina, as well as the first operator in the country both in domestic and international flights. Since 2009, the company is fully owned by the Argentine state. Its operating bases are the airports Minister Pistarini (Ezeiza) and Jorge Newbery, both in Buenos Aires.
