Swiss International Air Lines AG, known simply as "Swiss", is the national airline of Switzerland. The company was founded in 2002 after the bankruptcy of Swissair. Its has some of the aircraft and work on some routes previously flown by Swissair. In 2005 Swiss was absorbed by Lufthansa and then became part of Star Alliance. Its headquarters is located in Basel, its main hub is Zurich Airport (iata ZRH), while other focus bases are located in Geneva and Basel airports. Swiss operates scheduled domestic and international flights on a wide network of European and intercontinental destinations, its frequent flyer program is "Miles & More", its airport lounges SWISS First Lounge, Senator Lounge e Business Lounge.
