Malév Hungarian Airlines, founded in 1946, is the flagship airline of Hungary, based in Budapest. It is the country’s main airline and flies to more than 50 destinations in 34 countries. The airline’s main hub is Ferihegy international airport in Budapest. Malév has been a member of the Oneworld alliance since April 2007. Malév, on 3 February 2012, grounded all planes and cancelled all flights because planes were held overseas for unpaid debts.
