Lufthansa Italy now has available a large selection of nonstop flights from northern Italy to Europe. From its main base in Milan Malpensa it operates direct flights to Barcelona, Budapest, Bucarest, Paris (Charles de Gaulle), Lisbon, London (Heathrow) and Madrid. In addition, Italy offers direct national connections from Milan Malpensa to Rome, Naples and Bari. On October 29, 2011 Lufthansa Italy closed its operations.
