Skytrans Airlines, founded in October 1990, is an Australian airline based in Cairns, Australia. It operates internal flights from Cairns to Townsville, Aurukun, Coen, Cooktown, Horn Island, Karumba, Lockhart River and Yorke Island. In addition, it flies from Townsville to Palm Island. In December 2006 Skytrans was bought by Australian Aviation Holdings. The company’s hub is the Cairns airport (iata CNS), while the secondary base is located in the airport of Brisbane (iata BNE).
