Meridiana Fly SpA is an Italian airline founded on 29 March 1963 under the name of Alisarda and based in Olbia. Change its name to Meridiana in 1991 and, following the merger with Eurofly becomes Meridiana Fly in 2010. Created with the objective of promoting the development of the Costa Smeralda, Sardinia, and the airport of Olbia. Meridiana Fly is the largest airline for the Sardinia destinations, for which constant territorial tariffs are applied, but it also operates on various domestic and international destinations for short and medium haul. Its hub is located at the airport Olbia Costa Smeralda, while secondary bases are located in the airports of Cagliari Elmas and Rome Fiumicino. The frequent flyer program of Meridiana Fly is Hi-Fly.
